The first step in hiring migrant workers to help grow your business.
What is a Sponsorship Licence?
A Sponsorship Licence allows you to apply for a Certificate of Sponsorship for migrant workers and is the process implemented by the UKVI to vet UK businesses to make sure they are reputable and have a genuine need for migrant workers to fill a skills gap.
How to obtain a Sponsorship Licence
The Home Office looks to establish four key things before issuing a Sponsorship Licence to a company:
- That you are a genuine organisation operating lawfully in the UK
- That the key personnel named on your application are deemed honest, dependable and reliable
- You are capable of carrying out your sponsor duties
- If applying under the Tier 2 (General) visa, that you can offer genuine employment that meets the appropriate skill level and pay rates
